Thanks! That was the "thing" about this painting. I wanted to get a funkily saturated look to the colours, to enhance the effect.

Thanks very much! I was photographing outdoors a couple a weeks ago and was once again reminded of how immensely tall the pine trees around here are. They just would not fit in the frame, so I wanted to highlight that in my painting then too.
